This illustration is one of many that you can be apart of here at Medicine Bow Lodge. Debbie and I welcome you to come and share your summer vacation. Our horse program will begin in May, after the snow clears. We will have daily rides, morning and afternoon, all day rides toward the end of the week for those who want to really see the range. Our guests will be able to fish in either of the streams that border our property or one of the many mountain lakes that can be reached by horseback, hiking trails, or other forms of transportation within just a few minutes. Horseback riding is one of the best ways to see the mountains, with out a doubt. We don't want anyone to miss the chance of a lifetime. We offer rides for everyone, from slow scenic trails to rugged all day rides and pack trips. There is no telling what you will come across on one of our rides; a moose cow and her calf, elk, deer, or an old mining town. You may come across a spectacular view of a mountain side, a fast flowing stream, or a beautiful mountain lake filled with trout. It is a beautiful place to see on horseback. We are excited to offer overnight horseback trips. Oour guests will sleep in a tent or possibly a hammock. Meals will be cooked and prepared outdoors. This is for the adventureous and people who want to experience the mountains in an exciting way. Weather conditions may effect the packtrip route. Packtrip dates can be flexible to meet your busy schedule. We will do our best to provide you with unforgettavle memories. Contact us for more information. Our meal plan is simple, lots of homemade food and plenty of snacks. We can provide special diets if you let us know your needs. We will have coffee, tea and other refreshments available for you at your convenience. All of our rooms are clean and have their own private bathroom. Each room has two double beds.
